The record was written over the course of two years and production began from Sage’s home studio in Calgary. Two of the songs (“Stay the Same”, “More”)

The record was written over the course of two years and production began from Sage’s home studio in Calgary. Two of the songs (“Stay the Same”, “More”) were co-produced remotely by Kofi AK.

  Micah Sage is an Alt/Pop artist based in Calgary, Alberta. She is a self-taught writer, multi-instrumentalist and producer.  Her sound (inspired by Coldplay, Billie Eilish, Adam Melchor, Mazzy Star) is dreamy, soulful, cinematic and entirely her own. 

Micah Sage debuted her self-titled EP in June 2023, which is self-written, played, recorded and primarily self-produced. It has been featured on CBC Radio, Canadian Campus Radio National, CKUA Provincial, and Commercial Radio (98.5 Virgin Radio & X92.9) in her city. The EP also placed in the Top 30 Charts on CJSW (Calgary). In March 2023, Sage was one of ten Canadian artists invited to Canada’s Music Incubator in Toronto where she developed her art and business with industry professionals over 8 weeks. 

Over 2023, Micah Sage has graced stages from Toronto to Vancouver, and looks forward to creating and sharing more records in the coming years.
