The album explores the profound theme of 'Radical Acceptance,' defined as the practice of fully embracing reality and oneself without resistance or judgment, even in the face of life's most challenging circumstances.

• PREVIEW FOCUS TRACK : "LET ME GO" - “Let Me Go” by Micah Sage is an introspective and melancholic acoustic piece that delves into the struggle of releasing what no longer serves you. With its slow, soulful melody and powerful, resonant vocals, the song captures the bittersweet process of surrendering to oneself and coming to terms with the distortion of past memories. The lush harmonies and reflective lyrics highlight the inner turmoil of overthinking and the difficulty of letting go. As part of the album’s theme of ‘Radical Acceptance,’ “Let Me Go” encourages listeners to confront their own mental entanglements and find peace through acceptance and release.

Sage’s debut self-titled EP (June 2023) is self-written, played, recorded and primarily self-produced. The EP is centered around themes of aging, growing and life experience as an adolescent human. The record was written over the course of two years and production began from Sage’s home studio in Calgary. Two of the songs (“Stay the Same”, “More”) were co-produced remotely by Kofi AK.
